Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule
Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule is an esoteric artist in many media, including painting, writing, sculpture, sound and performance art. His 'Tela Quadrivium' series of alchemical art books are published by Fulgur Limited (UK), and his text-based ‘Time Fate and Spider Magic’ by Avalonia Books (UK), and Book of Kaos Tarot self-published via iNSPiRALink. Multimedia Press.
He is the writer-director of Australian-based Metamorphic Ritual Theatre Company who have presented many major original productions based in various ancient mythos, and regularly performs and exhibits internationally.
Orryelle instigated the global HermAphroditic ChAOrder of the Silver Dusk counterpointing (and bridging) the solar-scientific approach of The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn with lunar-artistic-intuitive magics.
His work engages with connecting the subconscious and conscious through magical and mythical symbols and archetypes, as a part of the vanguard of current resurgence in esoteric arts balanced between the conceptual and the aesthetic.

Loom of Lila (fragment)
A scene from Metamorphic Ritual Theatre's ritual dance theatre production 'LOOM of LILA'. Marking their individuality with kinetic sigils while attached to a greater Web, the dancers then begin to stretch the capacities of their bodies in several directions, while fractal projections of Kali-Arachne extend their perspective parallel to their physical extensions. The Choronzon Machine ritual opera (fragment)
In the previous scene of The Choronzon Machine ritual opera, the Magician (Arcana I, played by Evan Flux) tried to invoke his Holy Guardian Angel by the book. Now he tries a more freeform approach and She appears as his reflective Priestess (Arcana II, played by Heidi Valkyrie) through the Magic Mirror. Oedipus Tyrannos ('Oedipus and the SphinX' fragment)
A short extract from Scene 1 of OEDIPUS TYRANNOS by Metamorphic Ritual Theatre live in Melbourne March 09, in which Oedipus is confronted by the SphinX (played and co-written by Giselle Sybil) who questions his quest to change his Fate.
Orryelle rewrote the Classic Tragedy to demonstrate Fate and free Will as Not being mutually exclusive.
