I am a Hermetic philosopher - a scientific materialist turned seeker at 18. My path began in darkness, and has led me from worldliness to otherworldliness to an integration of both - the alchemical Nigredo, Albedo and Rubedo, respectively.

I have been on this trip for 40 years, but my identity remains 'student.' I still remain enthusiastic, a word which derives from the Greek, enthousiasmos, which ultimately comes from the adjective entheos, 'having the god within,' formed from 'en' [in, within] and theos, ['god']. Similarly, I have been greatly influenced by Entheogens (formerly, Psychedelics). Entheogen likewise derives from Greek, En [in], theo [god], gen [generated]I have taken my pseudonym from an ancient Gnostic philosopher.
